every year nbc latino works on special hispanic heritage month projects, including special reports, feature stories, videos and digital content. i've had the chance to work with the nbc latino team for the last three years to help provide coverage, pitch stories, research, write, produce and edit videos. in total, the stories have reached more than 25 million views online and on social media platforms.

I was Featured as a lead writer and researcher. my story on an Alabama Man Tracing his Ancestry Back Centuries To Embrace his Latino Culture was picked up by nbc news now. i was sent to huntsville, alabama, to produce the story and was a second camera operator. i also helped coordinate and conduct interviews with a tv correspondent and gathered videos and images for the special report. msnbc also featured our special report on one of their segments and cited exclusive data we collected from ancestry, the American genealogy company.
